Arrival, check-in and check-out

From 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. If you complete the check-in form in advance, self check-in is possible from as early as 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, subject to availability.

Arriving up to 10:00 pm is no problem: once reception has closed, Michi’s Bar takes care of welcoming you, and that is where you will receive your key and any information you need. If you let us know your approximate arrival time in advance, everything will be ready for you.

You can use your room until 10:30 am. If you are leaving very early or during the night, please settle your bill the evening before – reception does not open until 7:30 am.

From 7:30 to 10:00 am and from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Outside these hours, you can get information at Michi’s Bar – including when checking in during the evening.

St. Johann in Tirol has an express train stop, and regional trains also stop in Oberndorf. The journey takes around 2.5 hours from Munich, about one hour from Innsbruck and around 5.5 hours from Vienna. We offer a discount if you arrive by train.

Coming from Munich or Innsbruck, take the Kufstein Süd exit towards St. Johann; coming from Salzburg, take the B178. In both cases, turn right towards the centre before the tunnel, then continue straight ahead for around 500 metres – the hotel is on the left-hand side. At the one-way sign you may drive on as far as the hotel car park.

Yes, we are happy to arrange a private taxi for you from Salzburg, Innsbruck or Munich. A short email is all it takes – alternatively, you can book the shuttle directly with the provider.

Location, parking and getting around

Yes, right in the middle of the pedestrian zone of St. Johann in Tirol. Shops, a pharmacy, a bakery and a wide choice of restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away.

No, parking is free for you – right in front of the hotel and at another car park around 300 metres away. There are also two paid underground car parks around 200 metres from the hotel.

Yes, there is a charging station right at the hotel. For e-bikes, there are charging points in our spacious Bike Depot.

With it, you can use the Panorama Badewelt and all S-Bahn trains in the region free of charge. You will receive the card by email as soon as you have completed the guest registration form on the day of arrival – for this we need your passport or identity card and your email address.

Yes, the railway station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel. If you choose the eco-friendly option and arrive by train, you receive a 3 % discount.

Not for the village itself – you are staying right in the middle of it. For excursions in the region, you can use public transport free of charge with the St. Johann Card.

Rooms and family rooms

Eight: Double Room for Single Use, Standard Double Room, Double Room Kitzbüheler Horn, the new Double Room Wilder Kaiser, the Family Rooms Hornblick, Kitzblick and Kalkstein, and the LOFT 6380. Sizes range from 15 m² to 65 m². You will find all the details on our Rooms page.

Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, radio, telephone and safe, plus a modern bathroom with shower or bathtub, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer and heated towel rail. Every room has a seating area and a desk, and most also have a balcony.

The Family Room Kitzblick has two separate bedrooms with a connecting door and is designed for up to five people. The Family Room Kalkstein offers a bedroom and a living/sleeping room with a sliding door, for up to four people.

Yes, rooms with a connecting door are available in both the Standard Double Room and the Double Room Kitzbüheler Horn categories. Both can also be booked as multi-bed rooms.

Every two days. We hold the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel, and in doing so have committed ourselves to using resources responsibly – the reduced cleaning schedule is part of this.

Yes, every room has a safe. You can get the key from reception against a deposit; a small rental fee is deducted when you return it.

Yes, we provide a cot and a high chair free of charge. A changing table is also available.

Unfortunately not fully, as there are a few steps at the entrance. Inside the hotel, a lift is available to you. Our bathrooms are too small for wheelchairs, but they can be used comfortably with a rollator. If you have any questions, we will be happy to advise you personally so that together we can find the right room.

Breakfast, bar and dining in the village

A generous buffet with regional produce, plus an à la carte breakfast menu in summer for ham & eggs, avocado toast and the like. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 am.

Not at all. Ideally, let us know about any intolerances and allergies when you book, or at the latest when you arrive, and we will have the right things ready for you.

We offer only our indulgent breakfast – for dinner, we recommend the restaurants and inns in the village, many of which are within walking distance. A list of recommendations is available at the info point in the lobby.

Yes, Michi’s Bar is set up as a SKY sports bar. It is the place to go in the hotel for live broadcasts.

In summer up to 72 hours before arrival, in winter up to 28 days before arrival. This does not apply to the “Non-Refundable” rate – there, the booking is binding as soon as it is made. With our hotel’s own travel protection, you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.

Winter holidays: skiing, cross-country, ski depot

The Harschbichl valley station of the Bergbahnen St. Johann lifts is approx. a 12-minute walk from the hotel (around 800 m) – St. Johann in Tirol is one of those places where you can leave your car parked for your entire holiday.

Free of charge in the ski room of the Hotel PARK and at Top Skiverleih Mair right next to the slopes – you will receive the access card on the day of arrival. Alternatively, in the ski depot in the hotel itself, accessible via the outside entrance by the carport.

Right from the hotel – the hiking trails start just a few steps away, and with the cable car up the Kitzbüheler Horn, high-level trails are quickly within reach too. The Wilder Kaiser forms the backdrop.

Yes, our Bike Depot is easy to reach from outside: past the carport opposite and down to the lower ground floor. There are plenty of charging points for e-bikes, and the room is locked in the evening.

Yes, in summer we work with Montes Ski & Bike Sport. There you can get mountain bikes and e-bikes, at reduced rates for hotel guests.

The OD Trails in Oberndorf are around 4.2 km away – approx. 15 minutes by bike or approx. 10 minutes by car. The Harschbichl Trail is right in St. Johann. You will find information about the trails on our summer page.

The Panorama Badewelt has a large indoor area with a swimming pool and giant slide, and admission is included for you. On top of that, there are the sauna and infrared cabin in the hotel and destinations for excursions in the Kitzbüheler Alpen. On rainy days, our hotel TV also gives you additional tips.

Yes, in summer there is the gondola bonus for stays of three nights or more: with the St. Johann Card, you can ride the gondola up the Harschbichl and back down to the valley once free of charge.

Yes. In summer, children up to 5 years stay with us free of charge, children aged 6 to 12 receive a 40 % reduction, those aged 13 to 15 a 30 % reduction and those aged 16 and over a 20 % reduction. The Panorama Badewelt with its children’s area and two giant slides is included for hotel guests. There are also playgrounds, family-friendly hikes and destinations for excursions in the Kitzbüheler Alpen.

Yes – every room has a desk, Wi-Fi and telephone, the lobby can be used for working, and the railway station is within walking distance. For longer stays, please feel free to contact us.

The lobby and bar are available for you to work in. The building next door is also home to the “Weltraum”: there you can rent desks, private offices and conference rooms by the day, with full infrastructure provided. We will be happy to put you in touch.

No. As much as we love welcoming all our guests – unfortunately our hotel is not set up to accommodate pets. We kindly ask for your understanding.
